Delivered as part of our programme of regional enterprise support
Our business workshops are really useful for anyone with a business idea who wants to take the next step and move it forward.
For those with designs on growing their existing business, there are more advanced workshops and support for you too.
Some are delivered in person and some are online, so simply choose which sessions work best around your commitments.
The sessions will give you the skills and knowledge you need to start and grow a successful business and best of all, they’re FREE to attend.

From 19th September – The TEDCO Leadership Programme
A fully-funded short programme for small business owners covering Leadership through self-reflection | Leading strategically | Change management, Culture & Values | Leading & Navigating during uncertain times. Your commitment is 4 half days over 4 weeks:
- 19th Sept 10am to 2pm (at Cobalt Business Park, Newcastle, NE27 0QJ)
- 26th Sept 10am to 1pm (Online)
- 3rd Oct – 10am to 1pm (Online)
- 10th Oct – 10am to 1pm (Online)
Exclusively* for trading businesses based in North Tyneside, Newcastle or Northumberland, the Digital Track programme is delivered by TEDCO Business Support Limited and it is funded by North of Tyne Combined Authority.

- The Social Enterprise Boost Programme which will provide grants of up to £10,000 to the borough’s social entrepreneurs (PNE)

18th October – Introduction to Marketing Workshop

If you want to look at your strategy for how to get the most out of your marketing budget, then come along to find out more. 27th October – Social Media for Business Workshop
Online (hosted live) Social Media for Business
Friday 27th October 10:00am – 12:00pm via Zoom.
This workshop is ideal if you want to use social media for your business. We’ll be covering points of designing a social media strategy including: Review of current marketing, recognising your goals, figure out your ideal customer, investigate the competition, create a mission statement, identify key success metrics, choose your channels, create your posts, invest in a social media management tool and how to review and revise.
We also look at the legalities and advertising standards for social media marketing as well as some essential dos and don’ts of social media marketing!
