TEDCO Occupants STEP up for Success
The 10th Anniversary STEP (South Tyneside Enterprise Partnership) Awards proved very successful for businesses based in business centre’s operated by TEDCO (The Tyneside Economic Development Company Ltd).
Of the 14 short listed businesses at the annual awards ceremony, 4 are currently located in TEDCO’s portfolio of business centres and 2 are previous occupants.
Deborah Evans, TEDCO Senior Centre Manager said “It is fantastic to see so many of our occupants win awards at such a high profile ceremony. Each of the short listed businesses fully deserved their prizes and we are honoured to have them in our business centres.”
LS Care Ltd and Hanson Wealth Management from the Quadrus Centre, Boldon, celebrated winning the Most Promising New Business and Service Business of the Year categories respectively.
The success of TEDCO occupants was also reflected among the runners up of the awards with Training in Childcare (TIC), based in the Quadrus Centre coming second in the Service Business of the Year category and Katy Sue Designs who operate from TEDCO Business Works, South Shields narrowly missing out on the Most Promising New Business award.
TEDCO prides itself on offering the very best in customer service and business support. This was recently recognised by a leading national body when they were re-accredited with Customer First status.
