A. Our team of friendly, experienced business advisers are always available to talk to, and if that’s all you need, that’s fine!
Q. Is there any finance to help with the cost of developing my business?
A. This depends on the circumstances at the time of your enquiry. TEDCO will be able to inform you if grants and loans are available and what criteria must be met to qualify to access this money.
Q. Where can I get reliable and dependable staff?
A. TEDCO will be able to refer you to the appropriate organisations and will be able to tell you what (if any), schemes are current to help with the recruitment and costs of employment.
Q. Where do I go to find out how to buy or rent new premises?
A. TEDCO manages business premises across South Tyneside and also has access to the business premises databases at South Tyneside Council and North Tyneside Council.
Q. What help is there to assist with training my employees?
A. TEDCO can signpost you to a number of training providers for a wide variety of skills training. All of our training providers are well qualified, economical and in some instances their fees can be subsidised.

A. Provision of business premises in Jarrow, South Shields and Boldon, and Building up Business services including start-up help, training provision and general business advice in South Tyneside and North Tyneside.

A. We have well qualified sales and marketing advisers who can help you to identify new business sectors and focus on the most lucrative sales and marketing opportunities.

A. TEDCO can provide assistance with the development of web sites, acquisition of appropriate hardware and software and general IT issues. We can also help with staff training where required.

A. TEDCO has a well qualified team of business start-up advisers who are available by appointment.

A. TEDCO runs a free business management course which covers the whole spectrum of issues relating to business start-up. The course is run in both South and North Tyneside and is open to everyone.

A. TEDCO can help you meet your legislative obligations through qualified advisers and can put you in touch with organisations who will provide legislation updates.
