BUSINESS OWNERS INVITED TO HAVE THEIR SAY ON LOCAL ISSUES AT BUSINESS FORUM EVENT

North Tyneside Business Forum will welcome business owners to a packed networking and information event on Wednesday 18th October to have their say on business in North Tyneside.

Finding Finance and Support for your Business is designed to provide businesses with information and access to funding and support streams available in the North East of England and let them have their say on business in North Tyneside.

The event will include an update on the country’s economy from Mauricio Armellini, North East Agent for the Bank of England and quick-fire seminars on available finance and support from a range of providers including TEDCO, Santander, RSM and NBSL. These seminars will include topics such as grants, procurement, loans, and applying for credit.

A Q&A Panel made up of two businesses and two business support organisations will answer audience questions on how to scale-up the business, and how to tackle financial challenges. The Q&A panel will include global conference speaker Maurice Duffy of Blackswan business transformation consultancy and Alex Marsh, Investment Manager at event partner Northstar Ventures.

A speed networking session will take place for those which wish to make new business contacts in an instant and one-to-one sessions on investment opportunities will be available with event partner Northstar Ventures.

The evening will be hosted by Fiona Fletcher of Echo Events and Association Management. Fiona has worked as a Solicitor and Law Lecturer over the last 20 years and brings legal and managerial expertise to the event.

Throughout the packed event, businesses will be invited to have their say on local businesses issues and opportunities with an interactive business survey. This is the first time a business survey has been conducted in North Tyneside since 2014.
